IMPORTANT - THIS IMPORTANT LEGAL DOCUMENT IS A RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS AND MUST BE UNDERSTOOD FULLY BEFORE SIGNING.

BY THIS AGREEMENT YOU ARE GIVING A GENERAL RELEASE FROM LIABILITY TO SKIMEISTERS, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, GUIDES, LEADERS AND VOLUNTEER FACILITATORS , TOGETHER WITH ALL OTHER PERSONS WHO VOLUNTEER OR OTHERWISE PROVIDE SERVICES TO SKIMEISTERS.

By my electronic or physical signature to this document, I understand that I am giving a full release of liability of any claims, of any type, that I or any persons who may have any claims arising from my participation in any SkiMeister activity of any type. This would include my heirs, spouse, partner, any family member, legal representative or anyone else who may have a claim as a result of any injury or damage I may incur while participating in any SkiMeister activities.

I acknowledge that part of the consideration I have received for the signing of this release allows me to participate in Skimeister sponsored activities. By my electronic or physical signature, I agree it shall be conclusively presumed that I read and understood each and every term of this release.

I understand that SkiMeisters is a volunteer run organization and all of its members, including myself (if I am a member of SkiMeisters), will volunteer to help facilitate its various activities. Just as this release would protect me as a volunteer, I agree that this release will protect other Skimeisters and the Club from any claims I or my assigns, heirs, spouse, or family member may have when I participate in an activity facilitated by other member volunteers. I understand and agree that Skimeisters wouldn’t be able to function without its volunteers and any and all of its volunteers should be not held liable for any claims I might make when participating in Skimeister sponsored activities.

If I participate as a guest, I understand that my being able to participate in a Skimeister activity is sufficient consideration to me to allow this release to be fully effective in all its terms.

This release shall be effective as to any SkiMeister activity I may be engaged in including, but not limited to: Alpine and Nordic Skiing, hiking, biking, rafting, camping, backpacking, canoeing. I understand that these and any other SkiMeister activity is or may be HAZARDOUS AND INVOVE RISKS OF PHYSICAL INURY INCLUDING DEATH. It shall be conclusively presumed and accepted that I am expressly agreeing to accept all dangers and risks associated with these activities, including risks of any type that are not expressly listed this agreement. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my own safety while participating in any activity and that neither SkiMeisters nor its volunteer facilitators bear any responsibility for my health and safety.

I acknowledge that any activity has risks associated with that activity. Some of these risks are inherently dangerous and could even result in serious injury or death.. I agree that by participating in any activity, I accept full responsibility for any injury or damage I or my heirs, representatives and assigns may suffer as a result of that activity and that neither SkiMeisters nor its volunteer facilitators have ANY responsibility for that injury or damage. I represent I am fully capable of evaluating these risks. I solely assume all such risks, injuries and damages that may arise from my participation in any SkiMeister activity. I agree that Skimeisters and its volunteer facilitators are entitled to rely on my entire assumption of such risks when allowing me to participate in any Skimeister sponsored activity.

I agree to follow all SkiMeister rules such as wearing protective equipment such as helmets. I agree that I am the sole person responsible for determining if I can safely participate in or continue with any activity. This agreement shall remain in effect until revoked in writing by me. This agreement cannot be modified. This release is effective each and every time I engage in a SkiMeister activity without me signing an additional agreement. I have read the contents of this agreement and sign it voluntarily and understand each of its terms.

I, the signatory, release and discharge SkiMeisters, its directors, officers, members, employees, agents, guides and volunteer facilitators from any claims, whatsoever, as detailed by the terms of this agreement. This release is binding upon me and my heirs, devisees, and legal representatives and shall inure to the benefit of any person or organization released herein
